Goodbye, Fair Veronica

It's over. We've watched all the Veronica Mars there is to watch. Commence weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The show only had three seasons, unfortunately, and was canceled so the ends were not tied up neatly. Maybe that's just as well, because in my head I have an elaborate subsequent season. Not the existing promo for the fourth season, but my own final season that takes place at Hearst College, where our favorite characters spent the third season. I've spent a couple of sleepless nights turning it all over in my head and I have it figured out - a new major mystery that carries us through, how to get rid of the characters I don't like and what to do with the characters I do like. Some little details that were never answered in previous seasons are resolved. The boring and the villains are vanquished, a semi-villain is redeemed and all the heroes end up in the proper relationships.

And, if I figure out what to do with Weevil, I bet I'll be able to sleep at night...

  1. Ahhh, you are bringing back memories for me.

A movie is in the works, did you know?

  2. I did not know! That's very exciting, thank you!

But what if they don't put all the right people together?? ;)

  3. Okay, I did not watch Veronica Mars, but I had a different television show I started watching in Grad School. Mine was Sex and the City - I know people have different opinions on it, but I really enjoyed the clothes, humor, and girls' friendships.

I even have the DVDs from four of the six seasons - fun to have on in the background when I am doing never ending paperwork. However, after the movie (which, yes, I own), I swore I was done with it. After eleven years, time to move on, etc. However, I just read in the Statesman they may make another movie.

And thus, the junkie goes back again.....

    Have a great day! :-)

  4. Weevil would have been good "muscle" for Mars Investigations. But, he has to stay out of trouble, and we know how Weevil likes trouble.

  5. I've finally figured out Weevil's destiny. It fits right in. Having this imaginary plot gives me so much closure ;)
