Blogiversary Giveway: Awesome Set of Handmade Cards!
YAY, it's been a whole year since I started writing here in blog land. To celebrate my joy in the occasion, I'm giving something to YOU!
This giveaway is a fun set of four handmade owl-themed cards created by Julie at Arizonamade. Each features felt, raised paper layers, and raffia or brads for a lovely look and feel. They are blank inside for your message and come with white envelopes. You'll love using these great all-occasion cards!
If you don't win (or even if you do!), not only is Arizonamade sponsoring this giveaway, but she's offering 10% off purchases at her etsy site if you mention Garnish, Deanna, Garnish in the comments at checkout! (Just type it in when you purchase then instead of paying immediately, wait for her to send you a new invoice with your discount applied.) Julie does beautiful, high quality work, if I do say so as her sister!
To enter, leave a comment on this post (you can just say hi). If you recommend this giveaway to a friend, have them mention you and I'll enter you an additional time for each recommendation. The giveaway will close Monday, August 31 at noon (ish) when I pick a winner using a random number generator and announce the winner.

Giveaway!
I got a couple of fabulous deals this week. And since they were so great, I'm sharing the fun! This giveaway is a clear stamp set: ten beachy stamps, a full size ink pad and an acrylic mount. This has everything you need to try out stamping, even if you don't have any supplies so far. And the timing is right to make something in honor of the summer fun you have had so far (lots of summer left here in Texas, though!).
To enter this giveaway, just leave a comment saying something fun you did this summer (or just say hi if nothing leaps to mind) by the end of Monday, August 10. On Tuesday, I'll pick a winner and announce who won!
Here is some information about giveaways and some help regarding leaving comments.

We have a winner!
Our random number generator chose Cathy! Congratulations, Cathy, and enjoy your beautiful cards from ArizonaMade!
And for the rest of us, Julie has many beautiful cards available in her shop. She even has a set very similar to this one if you can't stand not to have won them yourself! She had such a set for sale yesterday but they sold immediately, so she worked in the time to make another. Talk about dedication. I'm even told her *husband* helped. Wow. Granted, one could make a case that I'm biased, but doesn't she have a beautiful, crisp style and a great eye for detail?
If you haven't used Etsy (an online market for handmade and vintage items) much, I'll let you know that Julie (and most sellers) will be happy to make you something just to your liking. You do have to create an account, but it's free. Then, in the page for her shop, look for a box in the right hand column titled "ArizonaMade" next to her picture and select the link at the bottom of that box, "Request Custom Item". If you have any trouble, just leave me a comment and I'll help you, seriously. And for this next week, mention Garnish, Deanna, Garnish in your checkout notes and get 25% off! (If you want the discount, don't pay immediately- Julie will send you a revised invoice.)
And finally, I'll leave you with an image of my favorite card, at least my favorite right now:

Giveaway!!
I'm so excited to offer this lovely giveaway sponsored by Arizona Made!
This is a set of four hand-made thank-you notes. Each main image is different and each is embossed so that you can feel the raised texture. The whole image is raised from the rest of the card, which reads "grateful" in an elegant font. A twine tie, fabric ribbon, and hand-sewn button give texture to the card over the two colors of background flourishes. The interior is left blank for your message. White envelopes are included. You'll really love using these beautiful notes! To enter, leave a comment on this post. Refer a friend! I'll enter your name again every time someone mentions that you referred them. Winner will be announced on Wednesday evening!
--------
I've had some questions about the comments:
- There is a comment link right below this.
- Just "hi" will do, you don't have to say anything profound.
- You don't need to sign up for any account to leave a comment. My site allows anonymous comments - you can just leave your first name.
- If you don't wish to leave contact info, just check back after I announce the winner.
- If you know me and think it would be dorky to enter, it's not and you should still sign up to win. Heck, I wish *I* could win.
- Just do it.
